Why Study Ayruvedic Diet?

Ayurvedic diet is not a fad, a trend, or a quick detox; it is a timeless medical and philosophical system that explains how nature works and how the body, mind, and senses return to balance through food, lifestyle, and rest. Ayurveda is not a “diet” in the modern sense, but a set of intelligent guidelines for transforming everyday meals into true nourishment and combining ingredients in ways that can also support healing. Rather than focusing on protein counts, macros, or labels like vegan or raw, Ayurveda evaluates food through the lens of prana, tejas, ojas, and agni, the subtle qualities that sustain vitality and resilience.

Ayurveda and Diet is a 3-class series into what truly feeds you, beyond popular myths, fads, and magic potions. In this series, you will learn to apply Ayurvedic principles in practical, accessible ways so that your daily meals become a conscious path toward healing, clarity, and sustained energy. You will explore how to choose foods according to your dosha, the time of day, and the seasons, and you will also be introduced to simple, traditional home remedies that reveal the “kitchen pharmacy” available in your own spice rack and pantry.
